Why this movie was made? Here's my guess.

So I think it was made just so Kim Jee Woon could have his name on the same poster as Arnold. I've only seen 2 of his prior films (ATOTS and TGTBTW) which I think are great movies and his others have high ratings here on IMDB.

I saw Kevin Smith talking about something similar on a stand up performance once. He talked about all the bad reviews for Cop Out and it seemed like he pretty much agreed but he didn't care because when he went to get Red State produced they didn't even ask what the story was about...all that mattered was a poster with his name next to the words "Bruce Willis" and he got all the money he needed to make the movie he wanted.

I don't think its a terrible movie but it didn't hold my attention. I liked Cop Out more.
