In the cornfield scenes, the corn appeared to be UPSIDE DOWN??? What the *beep* Don't these A-hole Hollywood writers know ANTYTHING? I guess NOT. F-ing IDIOTS!

Just an FYI...the writers generally aren't that involved once production hits that point...

When corn is ready to be harvested (specifically corned used for oil, ethanol, and feed as distinguished from sweet corn that you eat) you can tell because it dries out and the ears hang upside down.
