Bordered on fantasy

A somewhat entertaining film (good to see Arnold back), albeit often bordering on fantasy:

1. Cops at the roadblock standing upright in the line of automatic weapons fire instead of concealing themselves along the side of the road where they could have caught the attackers in a cross-fire.

2. One helicopter? One!

3. No other Arizona law enforcement (National Guard, State Police, neighboring police departments...) available to aid Summerton Junction?

4. A Corvette that must come with an 80 M. P. G. rating, because Cortez never seemed concerned about his fuel supply.

I felt that "Terminator" was more believable.

Yeah I kept thinking the same thing ESP when the helicopter lost him lol common you mean to tell me that a FBI helicopter doesn't have FLIR or night vision on board.

Plus the cops didnt even try to use a spike strip before the road block which def would have worked.

More hollywood crap

Did people whine and bitch this much in the 80s when movies like this were the norm?

They would have if many of us had been online then. It's not like people didn't realize how silly Commando was at the time

LOL, it seemed to be an intentional, completely ridiculous over the top action/comedy!

I wasn't that interested during the first half, but was laughing my head off during the finale, especially with that flare gun. Not to be taken seriously, AT ALL!

Anyway, was quite surprised by the twisted humor and also surprised that Arnie wasn't really in it that much, until the end of course.
