shareI agree. There are some members of the movie cast that I would love to come over to the tv show--don't think that will happen, but I can still dream the impossible dream.
My faves from the movie are Kevin Durand (Pangborn) he's brilliant in everything and I'm glad the movie funnied Pangborn up because he was a meanie in the book & Kev is so unexpectedly awesome at comic relief (see The Strain for examples); Aidan Turner (Luke) is just super hot and I thought he was great as Luke; and of course Godfrey Gao as Magnus Bane. I think it would be super smart of the producers to at least get Godfrey to play Magnus on the tv show, just to help bring over some of the fans that actually liked the movie, plus Magnus has his own super fanbase. The show better have Chairman Meow! But my absolute fave from the movie (and the books, for that matter) is Simon, and I thought Robert Sheehan was a perfect Simon. He's done a lot of tv over in the UK, so I don't think he'd be opposed to doing tv in America or probably Canada, but I highly doubt he'd want to reprise his role from a movie that bombed. Too bad, cuz my head would explode if he were involved in this show.
So all that being said, does anyone have a dream cast in mind? Get as dreamy as you want. For example, I think Benedict Cumberbatch would be the perfect Valentine, and he would look extra scary with super blond hair.😨
Downworlders? What's that? Like, people who live below 14th street?

Sorry for all that spelling mistake just noticed it.
shareAustin Butler would be a perfect fit for Jace in the tv series!
shareAustin Butler certainly looks pretty & angelic enough to play Jace; and he looks like he could pull off Jace's arrogance. But he borders on looking too young to me, even though Jace is only 16/17 years old. Not a bad choice, though.
