Is it good?
Is it good and on DVD?
Happy Valentine's Day!
So firstly, yes it is on dvd, and secondly it depends on what you class as good. Just saying for me I will love all book-to-movie adaptations (that I have read myself) regardless on what other people say, that is until I find something I truly don't like about it, then I will still enjoy the film but not as much as I originally did, somecases I will just blindly love the adaptation and anyone who disagrees can go away.
Anyway, I'll just say that you will know if it is good once you watch it yourself, in my opinion it is an 'okay/good' standard of adaptation, it could have been worse but it could have been much much better.
Hope this helped :)

I watched it on Youtube, didn't buy the DVD.
I read the book before I watched the movie. I didn't hate it...it's probably worth a watch if you feel like it would interest you!
I never read the book.
Should I read the book BEFORE I watch the movie?
What say you?
Happy Valentine's Day!
Hi. Read the book AFTER you see the movie, that way you won't be biased against the movie based on your expectations. The movie, imo, is both good and bad. There are things about it that I love and things that could have used improving. However, worth the watch. It introduced me to the world of Shadowhunters and I now love the books and can't wait for the TV series. The elements of the movie that I love (esp. the music) augment my reading of the books, which is what a good book to movie adaptation should do.
Hope you enjoy it!
Awww...shortest honeymoon ever!

Well it's not actually bad, i think the IMDb rating should be like 6.7 or something like that
shareI am a HUGE fan of the books, saw the movie in the theater, and I love them both. The book had so much info that they had to leave a lot out, but the chemistry between the actors and how hot all the male actors are makes it awesome. I don't think it really matters what order you see/read them, you'll love them.
shareNo. Very bad movie. The books are badly written also. The author is a bad writer also,
