thanks so much for this, i've been wondering if the show was still a go. i'm excited it's moving forward, however idk how steamy the steamy parts will be on ABC Family. i have to admit i was hoping for the CW or even MTV so that the more mature parts of the story can remain mature. oh well, i'll take whatever i can get, as long as the show does the story justice and includes plenty of Simon😍 and Chairman Meow🐱.

I'm happy with ABC Family. They have a lot of shows that feature same sex relationships and show ethnic diversity whereas CW does not. I don't watch MTV shows, so I can't say anything about them.
I'm not sure what you mean about the mature parts as Clare was pretty clear in the books of not making things too steamy so that younger readers could enjoy them, just as older readers could. Plus, they're upping the ages for the show so that opens things up a bit more.
ABC Family shows deal with some heavy content so I'm not worried.
