British actors.

Given the action happen in New York, why are the three main actors from England? This do not make any sense to me.

In fact, this movie is pretty lame.

reply

Because the characters aren't Americans, presumably.

Worst. Rescue. EVER!

The Shadow Hunters aren't American. They're supposed to have their own hidden Enclave 'somewhere in Europe' I don't think it's location is ever expressly stated either in the film or the books, but the accents kinda point to where.

Not (yet) read the books at all, myself but I did notice that most of the older Hunters and such were European/British/English actors using their natural accents. Certainly in keeping with what you say about the Enclacve and remember too that Jocelyn stole the Cup off Valentine and then ran away - America is pretty far and big enough to get lost in, so might explain further...

A hidden plane somewhere between Germany and France...so of course, other than Simon, they wouldn't have American accents.

reply

But British peoples, with superpowers living in New York. look like a good idea to you?

reply

Minus the superpowers, it seemed to work OK when things like the Boston Tea Party were kicking off. Brits living in NY gave birth to a nation, you know! 

reply

No one can see the Shadow Hunters unless they want you to..so moot point.

reply

why are they british unless the order is british in origin at least

Look like Tarzan talk like Jane! HAHA
