Wasnt there supposed to be a 2nd movie where we find out they aren't really brother and sister?

I end up watching this on tv a lot and would like a conclusion.

It seems the movie didn't make enough money to entice the studio to make a second movie. However there is a TV show coming out in a few months instead.

Hodge does make a comment in the movie about how Clary and Jace aren't really siblings and Valentine admits that he said it to eff them both up in the head and throw off their balance as a team.
