Climbing the tower vs climbing a rock face

Becky was seriously nervous climbing the tower, now i know her husband died climbing and she hadn't climbed for a year so obviously her confidence would of been low but wouldn't climbing up a tower aided by a ladder be a hell of a lot easier then climbing up any mountain/rock face considering the tower had a ladder and looked a lot shorter then the rock they was climbing in the beginning of the film?

I think the difference here is the height. The tower would likely have been the highest peak she's ever climbed at that point on top of everything she went through I think, at the very least, mentally (if not also physically) would be more challenging than what she had done previously.

Also such a "thin" tower at such heights will not be steady and move a little with wind, not a great feeling...
But yes it is probably easier than a mountain face, that is also why you see in the movie they didn't secure themselves throughout the climb much, also didn't take a longer rope.

When the rung of the ladder snapped off in her hand and she pretty much brushed it off was hilariously ridiculous tho.
