High Plains Drifter + The Crow = Red Hill

*Spoilers* Just watched this and I thought that it had a lot of both High Plains Drifter and The Crow in it. It had a western setting(even though it was in Australia)in an isolated town along with a mysterious stranger back for revenge, like HPD. As well as the spirit guide/omen of death, represented by the panther, like the crow was to Eric Draven. I liked this movie a lot. Pleasantly surprised.

I'm watching it right now, and agree with the comparisons, even though Jimmy isn't a supernatural entity like Eastwood seemed to be in HPD or Eric Draven. But it's definitely an interesting flick.

I love to love my Lisa.

No, I realize that the supernatural elements in Red Hill are far less blatant than in HPD or The Crow. It was more of the FEELING of the supernatural that I got from it. The only real example that I could find in the movie would be the black panther. But that wasn't even really explained in detail. What were your thoughts on it?
