Can someone tell me why the cops had to get her at the school. I mean do they not know the meaning of doing things discreetly?? Isn't she the victim here? why should she be escorted away? It's mind blowing to me. The school principal made this way more complicated and hard on her than it should've been-

They would've most likely sent plain-clothed officers in an unmarked car to pick her up.

They definitely did not need to perp walk her through the school. They did it in order to make her feel as humiliated as possible, which is typically the point of these type of movies. But yes it's totally unrealistic.
