I'm only about 3/4 of the way through, and I just had to stop and post this. This writer/director is a natural and just awesome in his insights and his ability to involve an audience with the people on the other side of the celluloid. The acting is superb. Just wow. Okay, back to the movie.
I thought it showed alot of raw emotions, from parents to the child. The acting was high quality. It's unfortunate that we live in a world that anything different is seen as "wrong." It's sad really. Not any different than the abuse others have suffered, blacks, Jewish, handicapped, gays, etc. No, im not transsexual or transgendered. Just be nice people, it's not hard.
This is one of my favorite movies on Netflix. Its a good little independent movie. It was refreshing to find a movie that explored homosexuality and transgender without making it a joke.
