How do they still have battery-powered anything?
Batteries go dead after a few months even if they are in the pack. It's been years simce the zombie apocalypse.

I know installed batteries will drain even if the device is not turned on but I've got a flashlight lantern in my closet for emergencies about ten years now. The battery sit next to it uninstalled. I check it every once a while to make sure it's still good and the battery is fine.

Hmmm...
I know batteries discharge, whether they are installed and the device off or unused. Never thought they'd last 10 years.

I have seen small solar panels in alexanda. They can charge them.
