Forget being a Whisperer, I'd have killed Dante for just being an

annoying as hell f***.

So much wrong with this show. They have no sensible protocols of rules for survival.

First, cut down all the trees within 100 feet or more of any outpost, and then take those trees and construct barriers to the dead and roadblocks to cars that are not securely allowed to pass in.

Then, also with the roads too. They are constantly getting ambushed on the roads.

They never learn.

Also ... there must be tons and tons of guns and other weapons out there, go get them. Than god for Eugene knowing how to make bullets, and sabotage them.

Doesn't he remind you of the guy Ellis from Die Hard who got shot trying to cut a slimy deal with the bad guys and get McClane to give up the detonators.

reply

He even looked like Ellis!

Yeah I agree. I also think that they should build additional walls farther away from their communities. They don’t have to be super strong or tall, but sturdy enough to kind of steer the walkers away from getting closer to the community. They could be far enough away so that the walkers can’t see or hear the community, so they’d have no stimuli to make them try to break through the walls. Instead, they’d just move along them and be routed around the community and pass by it without ever getting close enough to be attracted to the people in it.

Good point.

Isn't that the same technique they tries to use to move the quarry herd?

reply

They should have noise makers to draw away the walkers. Seems everyone they run into has this, but they don't adopt it. Pits with spikes with a banging wind machine in middle. Lights with horns drawing them away. Fireworks. stuff like that.
