Me either, but they showed it burnt and broken down as they left? The other thing I thought was that it might have been on the wrong side of Alpha's boundary line?

I don't think it was on the wrong side, but it affected their trade routes, so it took longer to get supplies. And Ezekiel/Carol fell into a deep depression, so they let things fall apart. Their boiler and other machines would break down and catch fire with no one proficient enough to maintain them. So it was a combination of things going wrong that caused the kingdom to fail.

There were not very many people there at all. That is too small a community to be self-sustaining and defend itself. It is hard to tell whether that is because it is hard to deal with on TV maintaining lots of little characters, or trying to have a long convoy to look after in the middle of an episode.

It was a combination of many things, mostly associated with the cold weather. Wasn't Henry the one who had learned to fix the pipe leaks (where being the only one that can fix them makes zero sense)? In any case, they lost the ability to keep up with all the required repairs, likely combined with depression.

I think the pipes burst due to the cold and they couldn't be fixed. They live in Virginia, surely there must have been snow and cold there before, but I guess this was one of those once every decade type storms.

Pipes? I doubt they have some sort of functioning water supply system going on through pipes or even any type of sewer system, so how does that justify them leaving the settlement in the middle of a blizzard? Just poop into a bucket bro.

Yeah. This made no sense. I hate they skipped over it and just expected us to accept it. The brief overview showed lots of buildings were semi burnt out which is very odd. They've survived the winters before but now can't be trusted to maintain log fires? It all seemed very sloppy writing to force them to leave.
