So is Negan still holding a grudge against Eugene?
The guy basically caused his entire downfall, seems his first priority after eventually getting out should be to bash his skull in.

shareI was wondering the opposite - if Rick and his people are still holding a grudge. They seem to be trusting Eugene now, despite their experience with him.
And I mean, who cares what Negan feels 😄
I wouldn't be surprised if Eugene misses his career as a saviour. At one point he was the highest ranked man at the sanctuary after Negan. In Alexandria is he just another guy without much influence over anything. I wouldn't trust his ass.
shareThat was some of the worst backpedaling by writers I've ever seen. You take a person who is treated like shit and has no respect and make him into a respected individual with decent character development, and then discard it for no real reason. It's moronic to assume Eugene would ever backstab Negan. All the power and influence he had working at the Sanctuary, not to mention the respect, and he throws it all away for...what exactly??? Oh right, getting into Rosita's pants (as if that will ever happen, unless the writers force it somehow). Just terrible writing all around.
shareHonestly the whole final battle with the saviours was a giant cock block, i expected to see the darkest episode of TWD ever with like half the cast getting axed off in all sorts of ways, instead none got axed and Rick just sort of won. Didn't even get to see Negan swing Lucille one last time. Speaking off Lucille, wonder what happened to her anyway. Guess we should just assume they made her into firewood.
