is it a rule on this show that all kids are annoying and stupid?

then you had the two sisters that carol had to kill
then you had the two brothers whos mom rick was hitting on
then you have this idiot of a kid.

Although I don't completely disagree, I do think that Henry's decision to open the gate was the most forced (and eye rolling) writing decision of the bunch...which actually goes hand-in-hand with how absurd this season has been.

It really has gotten to a point where I'm counting on dumb decisions to be made (by everyone), so it feels like it must have been super easy for the writers to justify "a dumb kid making a dumb decision" to keep the "drama" going for more episodes than it should.

It would have been a lot more surprising and compelling if he executed someone, either the guy he was looking for or not, then safely exited the pen and locked the door. But no, we got stupid child decisions.

I cant even remember one kind in this show who was not a annoying dumbass character. Like wtf Henry? This kid picks up what looked like a AR15, and nobody in that entire house saw him going outside with it?
