Some of people say this "gothic" group came from "fear of the walking dead" tv series. But i didn't watch that series due to low rating. Is it really cross path with TWD or just gossip?

No, I doubt it. They are certainly not in "Fear". I've been watching that since it aired.

How are they "gothic"? If anything they are ultra steampunk.

I don't recall seeing them in FEAR the Walking Dead, but I'm hoping we can get some sort of crossover soon. It's not too terribly far fetched that a minor character in the first 3 episodes of FEAR the Walking Dead (before the outbreak) would have taken a flight out to Atlanta or Washington D.C. and landed around the time Rick went into coma, managed to survive, and is now somewhere amongst the communities of Alexandria, Hilltop, the Kingdom, the Junkyard, the Lesbians-by-the-Sea, and the Saviors.
