Just finished this entire show
Even though the last season was unnecessarily dragged out, at least the ending was satisfying for me. It was great to see my old friend, Captain Kirk.
shareI just finished it and I completely agree. Seasons 1-3 were great and I think the show could have stayed great in that format. Going into the myth heavy Seasons 4 and 5 was a step in the wrong direction, because the show didn't really have enough consistent world building to jump headfirst into it. The Other World was extremely vague and there was no consistency in the development of its rules or why people from that world were in ours.
