Would've been great as a V/H/S segment

Not a bad movie and definitely worth a watch if you're fond of the found footage horror genre like I am. The female lead is very obnoxious and annoying (as mentioned in most reviews), and you keep rooting for her to die. I personally found her rapping far more scarier to watch than the horror scenes lol. That said, I'll grudgingly admit she was also a little funny in a couple of scenes.

Nothing is explained and the movie borrows from lots of previously made found footage horror. The camera movement is a little excessive and chaotic in parts, and with the flick being only a little over an hour long, I feel it would've made for a great V/H/S segment with some tight editing.

The director is the same guy who made 'Host' from 2020, which was a much better production and underrated IMO. If you like found footage, give it a watch - 6/10 for me

I've grew a taste for found footage films over the years. I think it's probably the most consistently scary sub-genre.

I really enjoyed Host so this film is one I've been considering checking out.
