Mattel had a fat Barbie?
I don’t remember that.
Did it sell?
I guess? the barbie that grew bewbs was hilarious...
shareWhen I search "fat Barbie" this came up: https://www.app.com/story/life/family/parenting/2016/01/28/meet-fat-barbie-new-barbie-shapes-all-american/79455222/
Apparently this is what passes for fat (Curvy) in Barbie world (the one in green skirt): https://www.app.com/gcdn/-mm-/fe2c0cd3ffcbf149786ac3c80240f25c47bf594c/c=0-97-1499-944/local/-/media/2016/01/28/NJGroup/AsburyPark/635895793555855006-Barbie-2016FashionistasCollection.jpg?width=1320&height=746&fit=crop&format=pjpg&auto=webp
She was plump and cute. One in the movie is obese and unattractive.
Another case of liberal miscasting.
And a tranny Barbie too apparently, if this film is any indication.
shareWell any little girl can pretend her Barbie is tran. Just like any guy can pretend he’s a girl after tranning. It’s all imagination.
shareBarbieland is supposed to be a world where women are dominant, real women. The fact a mentally ill man in a wig and dress was included and treated like a real woman (complete with a Ken and "snapping out of the male hypnosis" thing by being preached to about feminism by America Ferrara) in this movie is yet another example of how utterly convoluted and all over the place this film was thematically. It had no idea what it was going for and what it was trying to say, and as a result it's an incoherent mess of platitudes and contradictory nonsense.
shareWell, apparently you're not allowed to dislike Barbie because it made a billion dollars. So, I'm going to contact the CEO of Warner Brothers and they are going to have a strong word with you.
Opinions are not allowed!
Haha, you joke but it's happened to others before. I got an insulting response from a semi-famous Onlyfans model on social media some months ago who I'd never heard of before for daring to publicly not like the film Poor Things. Surprised she was able to get away from stuffing dildos up her ass on camera long enough to read and respond to me. Surprised she could read and write at all, frankly.
shareIt's best to avoid these "gossip based" social media sites like Twitter, or the offshoots Bluesky , Threads, or even just Facebook. They're all the same. I can say from personal experience.
If you dare to have an opinion disliking a popular celebrity, or a trend (like the pro-palestinian movement) And it goes against the grain? Forget it. You will be ostracized from the community, possibly doxed, relentlessly harassed by fans of the person or idea you slighted.
I once dares to question the Pro-Palestinian protests and I had an army of liberals bombarding my BlueSky page for a week. Just for daring to voice support for Israel. (And I'm a liberal)
Websites like that are useless. That's why they allow Trump on X again and that's why its run by Elon Musk, biggest douche in the Universe. Because it's a bunch of idiots
I wouldn't mind a shapeshifter Barbie. You could make it any size, shape or fatness or thinness you want, and it could change any second if you want it to.
Not sure how that could be achieved technically, but maybe in a video game type environment, it could.
Are there 'sandbox' Barbie games, where you could just play and customize things and just let it live? Ah yeah, The Sims..
