Black D'Artagnan innit?
Terrible, terrible
Alexander Dumas, the creator, was black and his father was the first black general in the French Army, so this may not be a stretch. Maybe an homage.
shareDumas's father was half black, his mother was white, so Dumas was one-quarter black. Regardless of Dumas's race, he wrote D'Artagnan as a white character, based on a real Musketeer who was also white.
shareThanks for the detailed info. Ironically, based on the film's rating this thread is the most promotion it had.
shareI knew that Dumas was part black. It wasn't so much the fact that this actor was black, it was the fact that this 'actor' couldn't act and had a silly accent
