Fantastic beginning

I think Halloween 2018 is pretty much a mess, with a slipshod script, unlikeable characters, unnecessary characters, a groan inducing twist, inane comedy, and very little suspense. However, I thought the beginning scenes, up until the opening credits, were excellent. It’s so unnerving to see Michael, the human Michael, at the mental hospital. When the mask comes out and the sense of evil begins to spread and create chaos with the other inmates, it is very powerful. Unfortunately, it’s pretty much downhill after that.

I also liked the opening credits with the rotted pumpkin reforming itself into the original Jack O'Lantern as the replicated the exact look of the 1978 credits.

That's the only good scene in the movie, I agree. It's no wonder that's most of the trailer.

The beginning the only good part.... pftt

Both beginning and end wasn't great, imo...The bathroom scene was intense though.
