Would you watch the next sequel If it was a sequel to Halloween 4 or 5. The one where they bring back Danielle Harris as Laurie's daughter.
In this one they ignore Halloween 6 or both 5 And 6 And have Jamie Lloyd take on Michael.
An astronomically huge IF right there. But sure, why not? That’s how Horror franchises work. Besides Jamie always deserved better, so it’d be great to see her face Mike like Laurie will in the new film. That being said, this upcoming Halloween might get a proper sequel. I can deal with it as long as they make a sequel that feels worth it.

We will see with the new one,, but I will be surprised if it is better than 2 4 or H20
They're reportedly already developing it, which is disappointing. We can never get a cookie without the milk being forced after, ya know? Just sucks that they can't let it stand on its own. At least for a little bit, at least until after the damn thing comes out. Hard to feel like there might be a sense of finality if they're already planning the sequel. Just seems like they'll kill Laurie in this one, maybe her daughter, then bam, the granddaughter is the new protagonist of the series.
But, such is the nature with these kinds of franchises, and of course I'll watch it.
