the blonde friend

I'm sure she'll die, but the Michael in the closet is undoubtedly her boyfriend playing a prank

No i'm pretty sure its Michael, cause in the trailer you can see a quick second of her hand being dragged upstairs into a room, pretty sure thats her dead under the ghost costume it shows in the chair beside the fish tank. Looks like Michael attacks her from the closet, she tries to run but he stabs her, she barely makes it out of the room before he grabs her and drags her back.

Mmm, could still be her boyfriend. Could be a nod to Judith's murder if it's her boyfriend, they hang out/fool around/whatever, and after he leaves is when she gets killed, or they both get killed while he's still there. I mean she could still easily be wearing the same shirt. Really hoping I'm right, because Laurie's granddaughter has a character shield, so, per tradition, the pretty blonde friend will die, would just be lame if they completely give away the moment in the trailer.

They gave away alot of kills in the trailer sadly, we see the British film crew dies, at the gas station it clearly shows the woman being killed and very briefly it shows the mans head being banged into the stall shes inside. And it clearly shows Toby Huss' character getting his throat slit by Michael, its him cause its the same shirt he has on in a moment from the trailer. Toby Huss plays Ray who i assume is either Jamie's boyfriend, husband or ex husband.

If paused at the right times and close attention you can see over half the kills from the movie in the trailer.

Well if it is Michael they are pretty dumb to show it in a trailer.

I highly doubt the blonde girls boyfriend has the exact same mask with the exact same wear and tear on it as Michael's mask from the 1st movie. Pretty confident its actually Michael, unless her boyfriend somehow manged to get a hold of Michael's mask.

reply

Pretty dumb to show the scare in the trailer, maybe she's dreaming.. ?

reply

Doubt it, seems a little camp to do a dream for a minor character, and it seems like they're trying to avoid camp in this one

reply

That's fair. Since we're ignoring all the other sequels, Michael probably isn't as much of a cultural icon as in the other continuities, so his mask wouldn't be as available, and for a teen to track one down in all the more poor taste. Dang.

THEY SHOULDNT HAVE SHOWN US FUCKING ANYTHING
