Raylon talks about it like its someplace special. I talked to a Kentucky native in the Nashville airport. This is how he described Glencoe: "Dont blink. You go 55 mile an hour down the road, you'll miss it".
Small town.

He didn't talk about it because of the town, he talked about it because it's where the U.S. Marshal service basic training academy is. He could go there and teach.

JOB-mfsoat is right.

For fun, I did look it up and there is a Glencoe, KY, that is probably what your Kentucky friend was referring to.

In the series, Raylan, Art, and Tim all at some point reference their training at "Glynco," that would be the on in GA.
