Things you thought were going to happen/wanted to happen in the finale?

I honestly thought in regards with Loretta that Raylan would end up "adopting" her in some way but it never came fourth.

What about the rest of you?

I had a little hope that the finale would play out with Raylan in grave danger, either injured or close to being shot and Boyd sacrificing himself for Raylan. And finish with we dug coal together.

It's been a while so I don't remember what I guessed really well, but it really doesn't matter because they've done an outstanding finale that still makes me miss this show badly.

I figured Raylan was going to survive. He is an Elmore Leonard protagonist after all - his protagonists don't die in his novels.

I assumed Boyd was going to die.

I wasn't too sure on Ava. She could have gone either way.

I would've liked to see the irony of Raylan and Boyd ending up in the same prison, possibly handicapped from gunshot wounds Ava gave them both. Lol

That sentence from Guy Walks Into A Bar still echoes on my head, extremely creepy: "I'm gonna kill you Raylan, maybe not tonight, maybe not tomorrow, but someday you gonna be walking down the street and I'm gonna put a bullet on the back of your skull and you are gonna drop".

Yeah, that could've been Quarrels that had the shootout with Raylan instead of that obnoxious brat. Lol
