One last time... Rank the seasons.
1. Season 3 - The season that gripped me and never let go. Neal McDonough will always be my favorite villain on this, watching him ham it up episode to episode with the Duff man was sheer brilliance. Favorite story of the season that just keeps getting more intense as the season goes on.
2. Season 6 - Stellar final season, one of the best I've seen in fact, as well as having one of the more satisfying finales out there. The standout guest stars (Elliott, Dillahunt, Steenburgen) in a series full of them.
3. Season 4 - The first season I watched on tv live and i couldn't wait week to week while posting on here! The mystery was fairly obvious after a few episodes, but the whole thing was a ton of fun. Augustine was underused but a terrific villain. Loved the subplots with Colt/Tim and Preacher Billy.
4. Season 5 - The reason i rank this Season ahead of Season 2 is due to the rewatch factor. I felt like season 5, while not the the best creatively, was purely the most fun season of the show. Lots of action/violence, slick dialogue as usual, wacked villains. Several of my favorite episodes are in this season as well.
5. Season 2 - A controversial choice I'm sure but I feel like the writers are still having growing pains regarding pacing here as the season is a bit over the map. The Winona/money storyline was the worst in the entire show and it took up something like 4 episodes.
6. Season 1 - Obviously the case of the week structure hurts it a bit but it also helped to substantially develop the characters and world. The seasom improved in the final stretch once Boyd returned and the Crowder story took over.
