I just read that the cast of his George Lopez show did the Christmas episode for this show. Is this show supposed to be a sequel to that series?

George is trying to be the next Lucille Ball I guess. She had five self-titled shows all together in her career. This will be George's 4th self-titled show.

I wonder why Carmen didn't appear also (I forgot what her real name is).

Masiela Lusha. My guess is she retired from acting. Or, they didn’t want her since she was the one non Latina member of the cast. Also, Emiliano Diez (Vic Palmeiro, Angie’s dad) was absent too.

Not a sequel.

A bit of a different take with him moving in with his daughter and her having a boyfriend and kid.
