Hermes!!! For sure, Hermes, I hope they do more episodes because I don't see him listed.
Common Sense and Common Courtesy are the least common things in the world
Athena and Poseidon.

I second Poseidon. They already had Zeus and Hades; they might as well include the other big boy.
I'm glad they did Hades already. I love his myth. In fact, in college, I did a paper on Greek funerary rites/Hades and a speech on the myth of Hades. I had the same instructor for both classes; she probably thought I was depressed or something, always writing about death :o)
I can take a lot of electricity.
id love to see one on Athena or Aphrodite. hell, i just wish they'd get back to talking about the Gods in detail instead of creatures from Greek Mythology.
sharePoseidon for sure would tie a lot of the ep together. Although I don't think there is a lot of history or facts to support him.
Huge part of the series is the facts that support the myths.

Artemis! I love Artemis! She doesn't seem to get the respect she needs, anywhere, either.
"I bet she's tougher than that. She runs with vampires."
I'd like some Hermes, too: always been a favorite of mine, definitely like him over Apollo.
I'm a little concerned about their omissions. For example, in the Zeus episode, they mention Metis, and instead of explaining that she lodges in Zeus' head after being swallowed, gives birth to Athena and that Zeus hatches Athena out of his head, they say she lands in Zeus' belly. In the Minotaur episode, they don't tell you about Ariadne being abandoned on Naxos, though they seem to build up to it by mentioning that Theseus is pressured into accepting her proposal. In the Hercules episode, they leave out his marriage to Deianira and the poisoned clothing which actually led to his death. In the Medusa episode, they leave out Andromeda. I know they only have an hour, but these are important details; in the case of Metis, it's an outright distortion. It's a pity.
Hermes and Dionysus
shareI second Dionysus. I'll for whoever is curious that they are airing an episode about The Odyssey on Monday, September 14. I have no news on whether or not a new episode will be aired next monday, September 7.

More Norse gods. Thor, Odin, loki, Frejya, Ragnarok, etc.
But I definitely agree with all the other suggestions made in this thread.
I'd like to see them expand this to other cultures as well. Especially China/Japan/India/Native American gods, etc.

I don't think it was ever meant to focus solely on gods (it's in the title but that's just because "History Channel's Mythology From Around the World" doesn't sound as exciting). In general it's a show about mythology. Gods are a part of that, but so are lots of other things too.
I think this show could possibly have a long future ahead of it - look how far History's "The Universe" series has gone. Despite LOVING astronomy I didn't think they'd have enough material to stretch a general audience series about it out 3 seasons. They have though, and they're working through season 4 now.
My guess is that we'll eventually get something on all the Greek gods, but having read much more extensively on those, I'm more interested in the mythology of some other cultures. Norse, Irish, Indian, Chinese, etc. To be truthful I found the Beowulf episode a refreshing change in pace from the previously Greek-centric episodes.
