Run-time: 130 minutes OR 150 minutes

We're two months away from release, and I'm seeing two different run-times listed. IMDb is showing 150 minutes, while a Middle Earth fan site is showing 130 minutes. In either case, this seems a little long for an animated film. Of course, if it's really good, the run-time will be irrelevant. If it's not good, it will be dismissed as "boring", "bloated", or worse. I'll admit I want this to be good, but I will not accept just anything so the producers can hold on to the rights to the franchise.

One of the producers confirmed in an interview that it's a 2 and a half hour movie.

It would not be a Tolkien-inspired fantasy movie if they did not make it 2.5 hours at minimum.
