Hera Hammerhand
A character created for The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, as she isn't mentioned by name in Tolkien's writings. However, she is based on the author's lore. Tolkien mentions that Helm has a daughter in his work, and he establishes her role in Helm's war with the Dunlendings. The 2024 Lord of the Rings film finally gives this character a name, as well as her own history to go with her father's. It looks like Hera could have a pretty massive impact on Middle-earth, as much of the movie centers on her story.
There are some angry (definitely) White males seeing a girl boss character again and they aren't having any of it. Anime girl bosses translate well from my experience. Going to be in theaters too.
