Mel's not my favorite, but usually his offbeat movies are sometimes entertaining at least.

Not so this movie. It just never quite catches flame and drew my interest in. The whole call in radio host genre and psycho lunatic caller is gone way past its time. There are not more call-in radio shows, and the ones that used to exist had moderators that prepped the call and cut the lunatics in their 7-second delay.

It wasn't believable, and the whole thing of starting a movie with a sunny domestic scene of wife and kid you know are going to be threatened in the next few minutes is so cliche and boring.

Mel is kind of the Donald Trump of the popular old actor world, and maybe this character is becoming boring and unpleasant to the movie-going audience. In any case, looking forward to the next Mel Gibson movie that pops up on streaming.

"Last Looks", "Force Of Nature" and "Dragged Across Concrete" were watchable.
