Good movie
I liked it, solid pace and structure. Interesting topic.
Not visual and bland acting, but it is overall good. Great considering the current state of cinema.

Agree, but I am a fan of journalism procedurals.
shareWell, I like them too but this one was very intriguing.
They are not inherently.
Spotlight was not, for instance.
I loved Spotlight. Sad story but the journalism storyline was riveting for me.
shareI could not get into it.
It felt preachy and forced.
I think it is a risk with this genre. In She Said they also get close to it till halfway, when they finally show some women on the wrong side and some men with agency (not tools) on the right side.
Probably, nice cast. In my part of the world it barely appeared in the Cinemas so I was going to catch it later and elsewhere - it's annoying when that happens and films appear to fail because of the limited distribution.
shareWe thought so too. I had read the book, and Ronan Farrow’s book, Catch & Kill. Plus I had watched all the documentaries. I’m pleased they included Zelda Perkins (played by Samantha Morton), but I wish Zelda had had a bigger role in the over all screenplay.
The scene in the bar, when Carey Mulligan as Megan Twooey keeps telling this persistent asshole to fuck off, who continues trying to engage her after she initially, politely, lets him down easy — how many of us have experienced something similar?
Well, I am a handsome fella but I never had a woman insist that badly to pick me up at a bar.
