Question about a Stranger's Mission...

I've already completed the story mode of the game and I'm trying to go back and get stuff I missed the first time around, such as completing the challenges, getting all the outfits unlocked, etc. However I have one stumbling block at the moment...One of the outfits, you have to complete the "California's" Stranger's task. I looked up what the mission entailed on the Red Dead Wiki, and I don't remember encountering it before the story line finished. And since my character is Jack Marston, can you still complete this stranger's mission after the game is over? I haven't seen a blue dot pop up on the map when Im in Gaptooth Ridge area or a ? on the map marking where to go. Am I SOL when it comes to this now? I haven't found an answer to this on any of the websites I've been to and would appreciate it if someone knows and can tell me. Thanks

Personally, I haven't tried completing any "Stranger Missions" with Jack Marston (Although I should have, it actually sounds kinda fun.). I normally try to finish as much as I can before I complete the game's story (same with GTA games), but from what I read on gamefaqs.com and the Red Dead wikia, it seems like you can complete "California" with Jack. According to Red Dead wikia, the only "Stranger Mission" you can't complete with Jack is the "I Know You" stranger missions.

Perhaps you were looking for the "?" in the wrong area? There's three parts to the "California" mission.

That must have been it. I wasn't far enough south. Its finally registering now. Either that, or else its showing up now since I reloaded my game. Thanks for your help!
