Accuracy in time passing (Spoilers!)

After John dies and Jack takes over as the main character, I'd have to assume there was a gap of around ten years (1921 maybe as John dies in 1911), yet nothing has changed in the world (apart from Ross of course).

I think it would have been nice to maybe have the towns/roads etc. advanced and grown a bit or if that's too much trouble maybe just have cars and things like that available.

it only jumps 3 years not 10.

Jack takes over in 1914.

maybe missed something but how do we know it was 3 years?

well whatever time passed, it probably just wasn't worth the time and effort to "age" the world since there's just one mission left by the time you become Jack. had there been a few missions to do as him, i imagine they woulda made some changes to accomodate that.

i'm sorta glad there wasnt more...i was totally caught off guard when the farm/family stuff kicked in. i figured when John got home it would be the end. and then when you become Jack i thought there'd be more and i was like "damn, its the game that never ends". lol

and i gotta say, they should have done/shown something so you knew Jack had a mission. there was no indication of anything else on the map, no matter if you zoomed in or anything. i only figured i had to go to blackwater cuz i checked online. if i didnt have the internet, i woulda just saved and stopped it then. i mean sure there wasnt any credits so you figured it cant be over but nothing told you what or where to go.

It is only 3 years but you would never have guessed he was only 3 years older than the wimpy teenager of 1911, he looks at least in his mid-late twenties.

Keep calm and Carry on

Well my *beep* home town still looks like as it was in 1989.
