Possible sequel in the works (link)

Amazing game by the way. Rockstar is planning another open world game.

Of course Rockstar are planning another open world game...it's what they do and are famous for.
That's like posting "news" that McDonald's are making burgers.

It would be no surprise at all if Rockstar announced they have been working on another RDR game. Game development takes years of work. I bet they already have a story as that is the first place they would start. Work on another RDR game would have started not too long after the sales reports of this game.

J McClane is right.

I'm not convinced we'll see this for quite a while yet, though. A sequel is definite though.

Believe.

Oh undoubtedly, with the success of RDR a sequel is inevitable. It'll probably be the start of an entirely new franchise like GTA, they'll be making them for years to come. Red Dead Revelations, Red Dead Reckoning, Red Dead Refurbishment, and so forth.

It wouldn't be the second at all:
Red Dead Revolver (PS2/Xbox)
Red Dead Redemption... Then...
Red Dead ....

Nobody said "second" but you. The discussion is about a sequel. Learn the difference before you post.

Nobody ever told me that before.

While I loved RDR and do want a sequel (but prefer a prequel with younger/wilder John).
I want a sequel to Bully. It's been AGES since the last one and there had been rumours of a new Bully set in college.
Bully was awesome and I've recently started replaying it...it's still awesome.

With the new GTA V almost ready for release (possibly what the original post was referring to). Rockstar have plenty of time for new games now, and yes I know it's a different development team.

Still one can hope for a new RD game, as well as a Bully 2 and with Rockstar getting the IP for L.A Noire...
More games!

And so, God came forth and proclaimed widescreen is the best.
