I like Daniel Day-Lewis or Christian Bale for John Marston though they both should put on some weight first. I always pictured Scarlett johansson as Bonnie and Kate Mara as Abigail. Also I think Robin Williams would play the perfect Nigel West Dickens or maybe even Danny Devito

reply

Wasn't there already a Daniel Day-Lewis type of character in the game by the oil fields?

reply

Karl Urban looks like john marston?!

reply

came here to see if anyone else thought he looked like karl urban hes my choice dont know if he has the acting chops or the accent to do it

reply

Actually, I think the best person to play West-Dickens would be the man who actually voiced him. I can't recall his name, but he played Mr. Sweeney in Ned's Declassified School Survuval Guide.

reply

I was just watching the tv show Banshee and it occurred to me that Antony Starr would be a great John Marston.

I've always imagined Norman Reedus playing John, but everyone's ideas sound great!

Oh and it's a miniseries on HBO, not a movie.

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.

reply

Get rid of Clooney, Hedlund, Brolin, Hamm, Danny *beep* Trejo, Logue, Kurt Russell(can suck a D), and Theron too. The rest, I like. Especially the Coen Bros and Daniel Day-Lewis. Jaoquin Phoenix would do well as Marston, I think. I love that you put John Hawkes in there!

I really wish Hollywood would make a movie using some of these characters and storyline. A lot of the game has some corny characters that wouldn't work well on screen, such as Nigel West Dickens.

Anyway, I loved this game. Hope they come out with another one soon!

reply

When I was playing this game, in my mind I was like..geez Heath Ledger would make a great professor McDougall. He played similar character in The Brother's Grimm

reply

Tim Olyphant would make a great John Marston
