Only an American would be able to answer him because of the language barrier, if you've ever been near a US message board you'll notice that they throw around adjectives like 'liberal', 'right-wing', 'socialist' and 'neo-con' at the drop of a hat, but always use them in the wrong context.

Opinions are just onions with pi in them.

Americans know exactly what those words mean,thank you very much--I know the British do have totally different views on what they are. I have to admit, a lot of Americans don't know what the hell socialism means.

And the OP didn't even explain why we should think the nurse was a liberal or idiot (even Repubs act like fools half the damn time---sorry, but if you ask a question,make sure it makes better sense next time.

Well, she kind of had a point at first, to dislike them anyway. But I think the point was that she changed just like Moses changed by the end. He saw her as a regular person and she realized that beneath his tough exterior, he was really just a kid, and felt pity for him and the way life had treated him.

It's always easy to demonize someone before finding out what kind of path led them to that.

On the other hand, some people are just jerks for no reason.

Children of IMDB enjoy thinking they have a clue as to how American politics work.

Excuse me, "Starwarsfan," but the common perception is that liberals are intellectuals ("pointy-headed liberal") and conservatives--not so much. Therefore the comparison is valid and not a tautology.
