I had the "displeasure" of seeing The Watch in theaters during a BORING business trip to Syracuse, NY...wasn't funny, wasn't anything! A shame, given the cast!
Although Attack the Block won't be on any of my "favorite" lists..it was BETTER then The Watch!

The Watch actually had a good premise and was funny in some parts (like when Ben Stiller whomps the hell out of one of the aliens) but it had way too many stupid and puerile frat-boy style sex jokes which dragged it down for me. I don't mind dirty humor, but there was just way too much of it at the plot's expense, which I think is partly why it wasn't that big of a hit. I wouldn't have minded it if there weren't so much of it throughout the film---less of it would have improved it a hell of a lot more. ATTACK THE BLOCK is the kind of film THE WATCH should have been, flat-out.
