Is this really possible? (Spoiler alert)

Some security that building has! The system goes haywire but the owner or building security are unaware that something isn't working. Fire alarms set off but don't alert security or fire dept. What's the point of a fire alarm if the entire building isn't alerted? I'm sure a wealthy guy would protect his home and million dollar artwork by having the fire dept immediately alerted. The water is shut off everywhere but the sprinkler system goes on for the plants on a timer. The fish are left with no one to feed them? I wish it was more realistic, i would have liked this movie more. I stayed interested to the end but was left with all these questions. In the end when he finally gets out, where did he end up? Assuming he escaped to the roof, that would be another issue. Not like he walked off into the sunset. I hope he took at least one piece of artwork to pay for his troubles
