While I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I thought Ed Helms was fantastic, I have to say that I would have really loved to see Steve Carel playing Lippe.

Eh, Carel is talented but has played that type of character so many times I'm not sure that would have worked so well.

Ed Helms is basically the same as Steve Carell. They are interchangeable.

They both play obnoxious characters but they take their obnoxious-ness (I have to create a new word) into different directions. Watch the episode in Season 3 (I think) where Andy (Helms' character) punches the wall for more information.
