locker room scene

What was the hugging in the locker room all about? Even if the head guy was corupt, it didn't fit the character. I missed part of it when Tim was trying to get the 2 diamonds by using a bribe. Did the head guy want something besides money?

This is just a small part of why this movie is so forgettable and lame. There are so many gay and religion bashing jokes jokes that exist simply because "it's funny to make fun of homos and christians?" I thought they were actually creating a "theme" in the story they were telling. I was TOTALLY expecting the guy to want some kind of sexual favor for the award, and in the end they do allude to that, probably just to circumvent the expectations, but all of the setup was for naught when the guy, supposedly in charge of what I would assume to be a multi million dollar organization, sells the whole point of the meeting for such a small price. I would imagine if the award were "for sale" people would be willing to cough up a lot more than just a few hundred bucks.

And also unfortunately, the moral of the story, just like every raunchy comedy, ends up being "Pull the stick out of your ass and enjoy life". As opposed to "sometimes it's ok, to just like your job and want to be good at it and make people happy", which is probably what they wanted it to be. But the main character didn't actually grow a spine until he "pulled the stick out his ass".
