45 minutes in. Not one laugh.
I'd eject it but I have nothing else to do for the next 45 minutes.
Update: changed to 1 star. Ejected after 50 minutes. Utterly horrible. What a waste of John C. Reilly who is usually brilliant in everything he does.
couldn't agree more, guru. this site is infested with teeny boppers and idiots with nothing better to do than come on here and knock movies they don't like. i give it a solid 9. we need to keep in mind that because of the trolls, the ratings on here don't mean sh*$.

Make that 6.4 now. I thought it was plenty enjoyable/fun. Don't know why there's a lot of strong objection from people.
As far as IMDb ratings, I think IMDb is exactly right most of the time. I love the ratings. That's how I choose all my movies/shows.
A 6.4 is about right for this film (a bit generous in my opinion, but it's IMDb - you have to make something particularly unlikeable to drop below 6.0).
The film wasn't hugely funny, the story wasn't original or particularly interesting - all it had going for it was a cast of very likable actors.

Now it's down to 6.3. I'd say it's a very enjoyable comedy with a decent cast, though it's a few notches short of excellence considering the talent involved. I just gave it 7/10, which is what the largest voting bloc rated it.

Liked the dark humor, its not mainstream laugh out loud stuff but I found it very funny throughout. On top it had some great character acting by all of the leads.
