I personally prefer Aquaman to all three of the Thor movies, although I disagree with you about Ragnarok being 'atrocious'. IMHO, Ragnarok is the best made of the Thor films (my only main issue is the way major characters, like the Warriors Three, are so flippantly and lazily killed-off, and the occasionally jarring tone).

Theres simply no arguing that BOTH Thor 1 and Ragnarok are considered better than Aquaman...

theres almost not 1 thing you can point to that suggests Aquaman is better than these 2 films ..at least based on the majority consensus.

BOTH THOR 1 and Ragnarok has better reviews,ratings and audience scores....


now embarrassingly...even Thor The Dark World seems to be considered better than Aquaman based on The FACTS.

Thor The Dark World is the weakest MCU film....yet still has a better overall consensus than Aquaman.

Thor 2 has a 66% on RT and a average rating of 6.2/10

Aquaman has a 65% on Rt and averag Rating of 6/10

Thor 2 has a 54 on meta, Aquaman has a 55

BOTH Thor 2 and Aquaman have an "A-" Cinemascore


In conclusion

Its not even up for debate if Aquaman is better than Thor 1 and Ragnarok....to debate it you literally have to "IGNORE ALL FACTS" and thats because all facts unequivocally prove and state BOTH Thor 1 and Ragnarok are better

as for Thor 2...IMO based on the facts..It would be accurate to say they are equal.

technically I guess Thor 2 Slightly has better stats...but Its so close....Its really impossible for either side to claim one is better than the other

although IMO saying Aquaman is equal to Thor 2 is bad enough...Its not a very good thing to say that "Hey Aquaman is equal" to The MCUs weakest film

I like Aquaman quite a bit but I also liked Thor Ragnarok. Because no one except incels like you are saying you can only like one and not the other.

Well I loved Thor: Ragnarock as it was the best of the Thor trilogy and grossed 850 million. I also loved Aquaman and it continues to do well, having grossed over 1 billion and change. If you look close, you can see ideas gleaned from the last Thor movie at play in Aquaman. Both studios - WB/DC and Disney/Marvel - borrow ideas from each other and expand on them. Of course, I'm a comic book fan with a foot in both Marvel and DC, so I want them both to be successful.

I liked it as much as Ragnarok and way more than the first two.
