Almost can't watch because of Alice's face...

I stopped watching it when I knew she is main character, but I think I am going to watch it now, I ran out of detective shows..

I feel the same. To me she's one of those people that annoys the hell out of me and all I have to do is look at her. That being said, it is a good trait for her creepy a$$ character.

Agree, one of the ugliest mouths I've ever seen - in film and real life. Her eyebrows are a little disconcerting also. I don't understand why she would be considered "pretty", striking maybe, but not pretty.

She is my favorite character in the entire Season 1. I read so many good reviews, but found the show tedious. Alice, for me, was the only high point. She did a great job and I'm going to look for her series The Affair.
