It's filming at the moment in Miami but who knows if it will be set in LA or Florida or if the film will move to LA to film the non beach scenes.

shareNot just Miami. Two days ago they were shooting in Forsyth Park in Savannah and today they were setting up to shoot on the beach at Tybee Island on the Georgia coast.
However, the tag line says "California". They can CGI the green water blue and pretend that it's the Pacific, I guess.
