Why are balls talking in a high pitched voice funny?

I understand things like this and "why are you holding onto me so tightly?" are supposed to be funny, written as humor. But ... it's just not. Not one thing in this trailer made me laugh, and the ball thing was clearly supposed to be the biggest joke there. I don't understand who finds this funny.

The biggest was clearly the You People one. The balls joke was just a minor mid trailer thing.

Oh yeah, I forgot about 'you people'. Not terrible, if done right, but not funny at all here. I laughed for a split second out of getting it and awkwardness, but not actual humor.
