Yes. Wait 2 years for new season of 8 episodes? They really need to do something with that. Either do mini-series and end show. Or bring new season every year.

shareWeekly schedules are to keep subscribers on the service for long (8-10 weeks) rather than have them all binge the series in a weekend, then let their subscription lapse. And to also generate longer social and media engagement.
Netflix mostly chooses to not do this, but does sometimes split their seasons in half.
