Excellent Series

It's a shame that so many bigots are criticizing this series when it's doubtful they have watched any of it.

It's an amazing show! I was expecting a mindless shallow romantic fluff show instead of a very serious, intense and powerful series which focuses on King George's struggle with mental illness.

Also, plenty about politics, grief, loneliness, hierarchy, discrimination, friendship and of course, love. Everything about this series was high quality. The younger actors portrayed their older counterparts really well by matching their mannerisms and physical appearance. Good chemistry, acting and writing.

Beautiful to watch with Emmy winning costumes, beautiful estates, music, scenery. Writing and acting were done really well.

Finally, it's not history, although it's very loosely based on it. It's a romantic fantasy!
